Supporting Best Cultural Destinations
If you’ve found your way to this page, it means you have a desire to support BCD, and for that we thank you!
Best Cultural Destinations is about recognizing and honoring people around the world who are bringing culture to life. For nine years, Meg Pier has been profiling and interviewing cool and inspiring people--people whose lives and cultures embody some wisdom, philosophy, or perspective our world needs.
BCD is a Labor of Love, and free. There are no ads or sponsored posts. Meg is not a "brand ambassador." There is no click-through affiliate marketing taking place on BCD.
Meg and her colleague Abbie Haskell are beholden to no one but the people they write about, who have entrusted them with their stories.
One of the simplest definitions of culture is a "way of life." Perhaps, like us, you believe the world can be a better place if there is greater understanding of the beauty in both our differences and our similarities.

Pass It On
An easy & free way to help BCD is to simply pay it forward--tell your friends about BCD and share the stories that resonate with you on social media.
The best way to ensure the continued existence of a website is to be a regular reader. We know how overloaded everyone’s inbox is, so we only send an email once a month, highlighting a selection of stories about a given destination, as well as relating to a specific theme, such as museums, spiritual practices, or textiles (and of course, we’d never share your email with anyone).
